Custom Medical Monitor Mounts

Custom, durable monitor mounts built for demanding clinical environments

Medical and healthcare professionals often work in high-pressure, changing environments. From patient exams to bedside care, monitors are constantly repositioned throughout the day and need continuous sanitization.

Medical monitor mounts must support the real workflow happening in hospitals and clinics, not complicate it. In tight spaces that require infection control and ergonomic reach, flexible and stable mounts are essential for maximizing patient care and minimizing staff fatigue.

For the comfort and safety of your patients and the convenience your staff appreciates, Moffatt engineers custom, durable monitor mounts built for demanding clinical environments. Our custom solutions can be designed to fit any healthcare environment.

Why Custom Monitor Mounts Matter in Healthcare

Fixed monitors often limit proper care. Sagging or poorly articulated arm mounts can waste time and increase strain on healthcare professionals. Workflow-driven mounting you can rely on is a must-have in healthcare settings.

Off-the-shelf products may be convenient for low quantities or quick-fix solutions, but they may lack solid, secure mounting and use non-compliant components that won’t stand up to rough use or help protect against infection.

We design high-quality and medical-grade monitor mounts that won’t droop or sag, keeping your technology and devices exactly where they need to be.

Our custom solutions ensure your environment is set up for success with reliable, flexible monitor mounts designed for a wide variety of space, size, and length configurations.

Our Previous Work: Improving Workflows with an Adjustable Medical Mount

Client: GCX Healthcare Solutions

We partnered with GCX Healthcare Solutions to create a reliable, flexible mounting solution that supports an ultrasound tablet on a portable rolling stand.

The Challenge

The flexible arm and mount needed to allow easy repositioning of the device, including height and angle adjustments.

The Solution

We worked together to customize a gooseneck flexible arm and mount with a tilt-and-swivel ball joint, providing maximum maneuverability. The long gooseneck arm provides maximum height, while the adjustable device mount allows positioning at any angle.

The Outcome

GCX Healthcare Solutions implemented these designs with their ultrasound rolling tablet stand, making ultrasounds easier and more convenient for both patients and healthcare professionals.

FAQs

Do you build monitor mounts for any medical monitor brand?

Yes. Our mounts can be customized to fit most medical-grade monitors, including VESA and proprietary patterns.

Can your mounts support large displays or heavy diagnostic screens?

No. Our arms are a perfect fit for smaller, lightweight devices like phones, tablets, and smaller monitors.

Are your products compliant with medical regulations?

We follow ISO-aligned quality systems and provide the documentation required for regulated environments.

What materials do you use?

We use medical-grade aluminum, stainless steel, and sanitized-friendly coatings designed for high-use medical environments.

Can you integrate your mounts into existing carts or workstations?

Yes. We can retrofit or design custom adapters to work with most cart, wall, or hospital bed systems.

Do you offer prototypes before production?

Yes. Prototyping and load testing are part of our development process.

What’s the typical lead time?

Purchase order lead times can vary from 4 to 12 weeks.

Design engineering project lead times can be as short as 8 to 12 weeks for simpler projects with slight alterations, where parts can be ordered from existing suppliers.

We are also able to support longer project timelines, from months to years, if the project requires component or product testing and validation, multiple work-up revisions, or regular co-design with your team. We have the capacity to see your project from concept through to manufacturing.

Honest, Transparent Process

We strive to make the design process as simple and transparent as possible. Reach out to our team, and we’ll be happy to help guide you through the process of designing your custom monitor mount.

We communicate throughout the entire design project, and if any issues come up, we’ll work with you to find a solution that still meets your needs.
